Design Decisions: To ensure accessibility, I prioritized color contrast and colorblind-friendly design principles. Conducted an Accessibility Audit: Conducted an audit of the original design to identify areas for improvement in terms of color contrast and accessibility. Enhanced Color Contrast: Made adjustments to the design to improve color contrast between text and background colors, meeting WCAG 2.1 guidelines for minimum contrast ratios. Colorblind-Friendly Design: Designed the template with colorblind individuals in mind, using a combination of colors that are easily distinguishable by those with color vision deficiency. Semantics and ARIA: Used semantic HTML and ARIA attributes to provide screen reader support and improve overall accessibility. Design Solutions: Modular Design: Designed the template with reusable modules, including headers, footers, and body content areas, allowing for easy customization and adaptation. Brand Consistency: Ensured that the design maintained Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's brand identity, including their logo, color palette, and typography. Accessible Colors: Chose colors that meet accessibility standards, ensuring that the design is usable by everyone.
